ABOUT ME

 Yasmin Defne Dadikhi (she/her) is a 20 year old Actor, Performer, and a Division III Cross Country Runner. She is a student at Emerson College and is expected to graduate with a BFA in Theatre and Performance Program in 2026. 

 Yasmin is Italian and Turkish and grew up in Istanbul and Florence, but currently lives in Boston. She speaks English, Turkish and intermediate level Spanish. Growing up, Yasmin studied Contemporary Dance and Devised Theater, and attended acting courses and workshops in various places around the world; such as RADA and New York Film Academy.

 

 She performed in several short films and plays such as: A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Miser and Three Sisters. One of Yasmin's favorite recent performances' was creating the character Iphigenia in a contemporary Ancient Greek theater performance that took place in The Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

 Yasmin has been trained in Linklater, improvisation and Alexander technique. Other experiences in the performance industry includes costume construction and masks.

 

 As running and athletics are a huge part of her life, she was all regional in the 2023 NCAA Cross Country season. When she's not creating a new character or running, Yasmin enjoys horseback riding, tennis, and has also been involved in charity work, including Violence Against Women (VAW) with Turkish Refugee Global Charity.
